Porcelain stoneware, like Silestone, is a man-made synthetic stone. While natural stone is formed through geological processes, porcelain is produced from an atomized blend of clays, feldspars, and other additives, giving it a hardness comparable to quartzite. Thanks to its elegance and multiple advantages, it has become an increasingly popular choice for homes.

It is a low-porosity material, which makes it highly resistant to stains and easy to clean, specially in polished finishes. Its high density provides exceptional scratch resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. One of its main advantages over Silestone is its thermal resistance: hot cookware can be placed directly on the surface. However, it’s important to note that polished finishes are less resistant to both scratches and heat, so the choice between polished or matte will depend on the intended use and level of care.

When it comes to design, the variety is extensive. With different porcelain brands available, you can find everything from finishes that realistically replicate natural stone to smooth, uniform colors, perfect for those seeking a simpler aesthetic.

Ascale

Ascale is one of the porcelain brands we have worked with the most, allowing us to guarantee both its quality and competitive pricing. Its catalog stands out for the accuracy with which it reproduces the textures of natural stones such as quartzite, marble, or granite, as well as non stone finishes like wood. Its most distinctive aspect, however, is its vibrant color range, offering shades not typically found in other brands’ collections.

Its colors are available in both polished and matte finishes, with the latter offering exceptional resistance to scratches and high temperatures. Ascale is manufactured in thicknesses of 12 mm, and 20 mm, although availability may vary depending on the chosen color.
